Richard S. Bishop, an attorney at Hourigan, Kluger & Quinn Law (HK&Q®) since 1985, focuses on estate planning and estate administration work, as well as elder law matters, real estate transactions, business transactions, and corporate matters.

Attorney Bishop represents clients in both Lackawanna and Luzerne counties. His practice in estate planning/estate administration includes structuring simple to more complex estate plans for individual and corporate clients. He has also handled litigation involving estates and personal representatives. Attorney Bishop has conducted seminars on governance for both for-profit and nonprofit organizations and has represented numerous local businesses in mergers and acquisitions.

Attorney Bishop serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Penn State Scranton, The ARC Foundation of Northeastern Pennsylvania and the ARC, the Salvation Army Scranton Citadel, the Schwartz Mack Foundation, the Jewish Community Center of Scranton, Amos Towers Housing, and the Advisory Board of M&T Bank and the Kania School of Business at the University of Scranton.

He is also the President of Amos Lodge of B’nai B’rith and Vice President of the board at Elan Skilled Nursing and Rehab, formerly the Jewish Home.
