Kathleen Quinn DePillis, an attorney at Hourigan, Kluger & Quinn Law, joined the firm in 1994 in the firm’s then-Allentown office, practicing medical malpractice defense and handling numerous cases to verdict as sole/lead trial counsel. In 1999 she took a hiatus from practicing law to raise her family and returned to the firm in 2007, working part-time doing legal research and brief writing for the firm’s major Plaintiff personal injury cases, including medical malpractice, motor vehicle collision, products liability and elevator injury cases. Attorney DePillis resumed full-time, active practice of law in July of 2020 and since then has been involved in the litigation, mediation, arbitration, trial and/or settlement of multiple, complex multi-million dollar cases.
Attorney DePillis grew up in Northeastern Pennsylvania. She attended the University of Scranton where she was in the Honors Program, graduated summa cum laude and was the recipient of the 1989 English award. She attended Boston College Law School where she was the recipient of multiple advocacy awards, won the school Moot Court and Mock Trial competitions and the regional Mock Trial Competition and participated in the National Mock Trial Competition.
Attorney DePillis is admitted to practice before all Pennsylvania Courts as well as the United States Court for the Middle District. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice.
Attorney DePillis and her husband Mark reside in Wayne, Pennsylvania and have three children.
