Kathleen Quinn DePillis

Attorney

Kathleen Quinn DePillis, an attorney at Hourigan, Kluger & Quinn, joined the firm in 1994 in the firm’s then-Allentown office, practicing medical malpractice defense and handling numerous cases to verdict as sole/lead trial counsel. In 1999, she took a hiatus from practicing law to raise her family and returned to the firm in 2007, working part-time doing legal research and brief writing for the firm’s major plaintiff personal injury cases, including medical malpractice, motor vehicle collision, product liability, and elevator injury cases.


Attorney DePillis resumed full-time, active practice of law in July of 2020 and since then has been involved in the litigation, mediation, arbitration, trial and/or settlement of multiple, complex multi-million dollar cases.


Attorney DePillis grew up in northeastern Pennsylvania and attended the University of Scranton. During her undergrad, she was in the Honors Program and graduated summa cum laude. She attended Boston College Law School, where she was the recipient of multiple advocacy awards.


Attorney DePillis was named in the Best Lawyers in America publication for the “Personal Injury – Plaintiffs” category.


Attorney DePillis is admitted to practice before all Pennsylvania Courts as well as the United States Court for the Middle District. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice.

April 2023 - Guest speaker alongside Joseph A. Quinn, Jr., Esquire at the NEPATLA Seminar: Lessons Learned in Overcoming Challenges in Two Major Cases.

 

April 2024 -  Appointed to Board of Directors for the Northeastern PA Trial Lawyers Association (NEPATLA).

 

April 2024 - Co-Guest speaker with Jerry P. Roscoe, Esquire on Settlement Strategy and Mediation at Temple Law/Temple University Health System’s LLM Wraparound Program for Medical Malpractice Trial Advocacy.


Attorney DePillis and her husband, Mark, reside in Wayne, Pennsylvania, and have three children.
